Open the Finder window by clicking the smiley face at the top of the dock =>
2.	Select “Applications” and scroll down to find the iWeb application =>
3.	Double click the iWeb application to open it (Watch the short tutorial if available and use headphones to avoid disrupting your neighbor).
4.	Choose a theme that appeals to you. You can change your mind anytime you like so don’t spend too much time picking a theme.
5.	Under the “File” menu at the top of your screen, choose to insert a “New Page” and pick the “About Us” design.
6.	Take your photo with Photo Booth. =>
7.	Drag the photo to your desktop and then drag it into your About Us page.

In this two-stage lesson, you will open and use the iPhoto application to create your own digital story. You may tell about you and your family or, if you have a class project, you may focus on that. Click here for an example.

1.	Open the Finder window by clicking the smiley face at the top of the dock on the right side of your screen =>
2. Create a documents folder and rename it: “allabout+yourname”
3. Select “Applications” and scroll down to find the iPhoto application (iPhoto may already be in your dock) =>
1.	Double click the iPhoto application to open it.
2.	Create a new Photo Album in iPhoto by clicking the + sign in the bottom left of the window and name the album “yourfirstname+lastinitial_history”
3.	Now click this link to search for 15 images that depict information relevant to your family’s history or class project.
4.	Drag the photos into the documents folder you created.
STAGE 2 --
1.	When you have your 15 photos, drag the entire folder on top of the iPhoto icon in your dock.
2.	Select all the photos you just imported into iPhoto and drag them on top of the Photo Album you created in step 5.
3. Now in iWeb, under the “File” menu at the top of your screen, select New Page and create an “Album” page. You may use any theme you like.
4. Use the “Show Media” window to find your iPhoto album and drag it onto the album placeholder.
5. You may now add captions to explain each photo in your album.
